On a related note, it slipped my mind that bookstores don’t only sell books, but also other related stuff. Baka! The thing that’s stopping me from opening this book/my other newly-bought ones is I’d been forgetting to buy plastic cover. Too young to be senile, huh. If only plastic people could take its place, my books surely won’t get any dent.
I got too hooked with the 1st book of Vizzini that I’ve recently read, which is, It’s Kind of a Funny Story. I’ve finished it for only 2 weeks despite the scarcity of sleep. I get so lazy sometimes that it takes me so long to finish thick books, so I could say this is a progress. Another things is, I just started appreciating the film adaptation. Truth be told, the 1st time I saw it, I was like, okay that’s it, lo and behold, it’s my favorite film now.
In other news, after searching at bookstores in gway, I found the first book of Ned that had a cameo appearance on It’s Kind of a Funny Story. The bad news is, it’s the last copy of Be More Chill. The great news is, I didn’t only find one of the books I’ve been meaning to buy. Funny how these two have in common. See the 2nd pic for reference.
Look what I found at the doorstep this afternoon. Apparently, it’s no longer in the doorstep. OMG I’m so stoked to go through every wonderful pages of this. A lovely way to start my week! Thank you, love.
We make it a point to flock at least once in a month amidst our busy lives. Also, find time to read/exchange books. Those two were lent to me by @themidnightdreamer, whereas, she has my Little Women book 1. We have to return them next month. Challenge accepted!

Pushed through the spur-of-the-moment date with my girl-friends at Woori Jib last Sunday. May I just say that that handmade stuff by Cei is awesome. Also found a bookstore at Cubao X that sells brand new books Php100-200 cheaper than the price at leading bookstores. And oh, thank you, baby girl, for the face mask. <3 I love the somewhat cold feeling it brings to my eyes because of the water bag that local face masks don’t have. :3
Went to the parlor this afternoon and had my hair dyed a bit lighter than the previous. Took some pictures but came up with the thought of not posting them anymore because they’re all fail. OTL Anyway, after @ohkramon tagged along at the parlor, I asked him if we could drop by at some bookstore before going home. I was so happy like an idiot thathis keen eye for details worked this time. Tell All drew his attention and showed it to me while I was busy rummaging for books on sale. It was 50% as we thought just to learn from the cashier that some lazy ass might returned it to the wrong section (I do that too, oftentimes). And it was only less than 20%. Nonetheless, still grabbed my 3rd Chuck Palahniuk book.

This one is added to the pile of books I own, which I haven’t read yet. I’m saving it for next year when I quit my job. 8D To tell you the truth, I was quite disappointed because I was expecting for Smoke and Mirrors: Short Fictions and Illusions by Neil Gaiman. It was number 1 on my wishlist. I feel like ranting now because I didn’t get what I wanted most. Kidding. Thank you, Debbie. XD
My Secret Santa left this under our company Christmas tree this morning because I was one of those kids who didn’t attend the Christmas party last Sunday. His name is not a secret anymore though. I got to know it through email. Hence, I still have no idea what he looks like. Anyway, whoever you are, thank you for utilizing my wish list very well. This is my first Chuck Palahniuk book. :)
